New Twists, Turns & Trends in Social Media: Grasping the New Basic

Sunday, January 19th

3:00 – 4:00 pm EST

Social Media Guru, Greg Pincus, is the “real deal” in terms of knowing how to help writers and illustrators “get” and “get into” social media. In this webinar, Greg helps us navigate the basics of the more widely used electronic networks including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and others. Grasping the similarities and differences, pros and cons, and unique characteristics among them will help us determine how to align our use of social media with our objectives. He also tackles new twists, turns, and trends in social media as a way to help us stay current and learn how to “get the best from” our use of these sources.

Primarily addressing the needs of beginners through intermediate social media users, this webinar will help participants:

  • * Learn how social media can support their work as writers and illustrators
  • * Chart a plan to start-up, improve, and/or advance their use of social media
  • * Set goals and objectives for their use of social media

Greg Pincus is a novelist, poet, screenwriter, blogger, speaker, and social media consultant. His work has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and blogs and websites around the globe. Greg is also a frequent presenter at national and regional SCBWI conferences.
